Objectives:

1. To continue the Cooperative's long history of promoting energy efficiency
2. Encourage members to upgrade old, inefficient appliances with a reduced cost burden
3. To increase engagement with membership

The Incentive:

OMEC is offering a 20% rebate (up to $400) on Energy Star rated appliances, limited to:

1. Refrigerator
2. Freezer
3. Dishwasher
4. Clothes Washer
5. Clothes Dryer
6. Dehumidifier
7. Window Air Conditioner
8. Hot Water Heaters

Conditions:

1. Must be an active member of Oneida-Madison Electric Cooperative, Inc.
2. Appliance must have been purchased within 6 months of submitting this application.
3. Appliance must be Energy Star rated.
4. Members must be current on electric service bill
5. Members must complete the Energy Efficiency Application
6. An itemized receipt showing product and date of purchase must be submitted
7. The old appliance must be removed from service & disposed of in an environmentally responsible manner. The Cooperative may require proof of disposal prior to issuing the rebate
8. Only one appliance per membership is eligible for the rebate in a 12-month period
9. All rebates are subject to available funds. These rebates will be issued in the form of a bill credit on your account(s). Please call the Co-op before making a purchase to confirm rebate funds availability. Please allow at least one week for O-MEC to credit your account. All rebate programs are subject to modifications or termination without notice.
