This is more specific than an address because some properties have multiple meters, sometimes meters are in the middle of the woods or a field, not on a building or structure. When calling afterhours, the answering service may ask for your Service Map Location to determine where to send the line crew in the event of an outage. The first letter tells you which line you're on and therefore which substation you receive power from. Reading Dates- <\/strong> Prev<\/strong> relates to the second to last date your meter was read, while Pres<\/strong> indicates your most recent meter reading date. If you subtract the Prev <\/strong>date from the Pres, <\/strong>you will get the number of days of your billing cycle, which can also be found in the Energy Usage Information box located in the top right hand corner of your statement.<\/p>\n\n
