Report a Power Outage

When your power goes off, there are a few things you can do to help us in restoring your power as quickly as possible.

·Check your panel box (breaker or fuse box). Make sure there are none that are tripped or blown.

·If possible, check with neighbors and find out if their power is off. This is helpful to the crew in locating the problem.

Call the Cooperative office at 315-893-1851 to report an outage during normal office hours, after hours call 1-800-547-3441.

When calling during normal office hours (7:30 am–4:00 pm) you will speak directly to Cooperative personnel and relay the problem.

When calling after 4:00pm Monday through Friday and on weekends or holidays, you will speak with our Dispatching Service.

Please give the dispatcher your name, telephone number, map location number and any information that may be helpful in restoring the power such as the location of a tree on the power lines or a broken pole.  This information will be recorded and Cooperative personnel will be notified immediately of the problem.

Stay away from downed lines and warn others to stay away.  The conductors may remain “hot” even though they may be laying on the ground.

Whenever an outage occurs, you may be certain that Oneida-Madison Electric Cooperative Inc. personnel are working to restore your power as soon as possible.

If your power comes back on within 5 - 15 minutes please call the office or dispatching service back and let them know power is back on.

We want to thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation.
